The opening ceremony of the 53rd Worldwide Movie Competition of India (IFFI) is being held in Goa. Austrian film Alma and Oskar, directed by Dieter Berner, is the opening movie this yr. Complete 280 movies from 79 international locations might be screened on the IFFI.
Ajay Devgn, Kartik Aaryan, Pankaj Tripathi, Manoj Bajpayee, Suniel Shetty, Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan amongst others are anticipated to attend the opening ceremony of the 53rd IFFI.

Movies from the Nationwide Movie Archive of India — together with Sohrab Modi’s Nausherwan-E-Adil (1957), Ramesh Maheshwary’s Nanak Nam Jahaz Hai”(1969), Ok Vishwanath’s 1980 Telugu film Sankarabharnam and Satyajit Ray’s Shatranj Ke Khiladi (1977) in addition to Ganashatru (1989) — might be showcased by the NFDC within the ‘Indian Restored Classics’ part.
