New Delhi, Dec 3 (IANS) The Ministry of Civil Aviation has issued pointers for the implementation of the Manufacturing Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme to assist the indigenous drone business.
These pointers cowl features just like the definitions, qualification and eligibility utility and on-line portal venture administration company (PMA), empowered group of secretaries (EGoS) and competent authority.
To make India a world hub for analysis and growth, testing, manufacturing, and operation of drones below the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, the liberalised Drone Guidelines, 2021 have been launched to create a growth-oriented regulatory framework for drones.
To facilitate additional development, the federal government has permitted Manufacturing Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Drones and Drone Parts in India.
For the implementation of this scheme throughout 2022-23 to 2024-25, a corpus of Rs 120 crore has additionally been allotted.
