Excessive Altitude Health, positioned at 1307 Paseo del Pueblo Norte in El Prado in Taos County, started accepting donated objects for individuals affected by wildfires in New Mexico this week.
Carol Adams, who owns and operates the gymnasium together with her husband John Adams, instructed the Taos Information on Monday (Could 9) that the couple has positioned a trailer within the health middle’s car parking zone which they hope to fill with objects for wildfire evacuees.
She stated they’re accepting objects like pet meals, child diapers, child formulation, bottled water, socks and non-perishable meals, like canned objects.
Because the 204,000-acre Calf Canyon-Hermits Peak Hearth and 59,000-acre Cooks Peak Hearth have continued to develop within the final two weeks on ongoing excessive winds, many evacuees have sought refuge in Taos County. Evacuation facilities and different assets stay out there for evacuees in Peñasco, Taos and Purple River.
Excessive Altitude Health could be reached at 575-751-1242.
