The international forex belongings had slumped by $11.108 billion within the week ended March 11 and once more by $703 million within the week ended March 18.
The foreign exchange reserves decline has coincided with the week throughout which the rupee hit an all-time low. The Indian rupee plunged to a report low of 77.02 towards a US greenback on March 7. For the week ended March 18, the foreign exchange reserves had dipped by $2.59 billion.
